Kostas PolychronisΚώστας Πολυχρόνης

I’m trying to change the world, and I’m looking for its source code.

Software engineer, born in Greece, building in the US since 2014. Android since the HTC Dream, security since 2016, currently Sr Staff Software Engineer at Cribl.

About

I started with QBasic, Visual Basic and mIRC scripts, then spent my nights writing Windows Mobile apps on my first PDA. While studying telecommunication systems and networks in Messolonghi I founded the Nafpaktos Wireless Network and hung around every Linux user group that would have me.

My first Android code was a diploma project in 2007. That turned into AndroidGreece.gr, a Greek Android community, a company, a startup, and eventually a move to San Francisco. These days I care most about big data, security and mobile, and I hold three patents.
